Overview
WP Smart Consent is a GDPR-friendly marketing opt-in for your SureCart checkout and forms that forwards consented contacts to your CRM.
How it works
When a customer ticks the opt-in box at checkout, their contact is forwarded to SureContact and other CRMs once the order is confirmed. Each opt-in is stored with a timestamp and IP, giving you an audit-ready consent log you can export.
Configure
Install and activate WP Smart Consent. In its dashboard, open Checkout Sources and toggle SureCart on. The opt-in checkbox appears on your checkout right away, with nothing to configure on the SureCart side. Then open CRMs & ESPs, paste your SureContact API key on the SureContact card’s Connection tab, and pick the list(s) your opted-in contacts should join.
